Our friends at Jordan/Nike Inc. referred us to another one of their premium retailers. Jordan and Nike both care very much how their brands are represented by their retailers and they don't allow just anyone to sell their product. In order to get approved for the Jordan line, a retailer must meet certain requirements. It's in the retailer's best interest to meet these demands because the addition of Jordan products alone add on average 30% more to revenues. To enjoy these benefits, retail sites have to demonstrate a firm grasp on the latest social integration as well as a defined content strategy amongst other required functionality. Our job was to provide a modern design to meet Nike standards as well as ensure best practices are followed for an easy and rich e-commerce experience.
This site was deployed on a Magento Enterprise backend which is THE top of the line e-commerce solution all of the big boys (and girls) use. It gives our client complete control over the site and allows them to implement loyalty programs, custom content, and ties in with their store's inventory so that the site can display inventory available in real time.
